Celestia acquires high-performance blockchain framework developer Sovereign Labs
BlockBeats news, July 15: Celestia Labs announced it has acquired high-performance blockchain framework developer Sovereign Labs. Since 2021, the latter has been deeply involved in the Celestia ecosystem, and its framework has provided underlying support for projects such as the cross-chain bridge Relay Protocol and the high-performance perpetual contract trading platform Bullet.
After this acquisition, Celestia Labs’ technical capabilities will expand from Layer 1 to the execution layer and application layer, becoming an enterprise-focused full-stack custom blockchain development partner. As projects such as Hyperliquid, Polymarket, and Robinhood have successively chosen to build their own chains, enterprise demand for full-stack blockchain infrastructure is accelerating.
