This pull-up just now was quite straightforward. After $CL started from the 70.08 area, it ground its way up to around 78.24. On paper, that’s already up +1083.14%. The outcome was good, but the process wasn’t easy at all.

What I was most worried about wasn’t the direction—it was the way it kept grinding back and forth in the middle. The chart tried to turn around several times. When you’re holding profit, it’s easiest to get scared and jump off too early, and it’s also easiest to suddenly want to add to the position.

In the end, the market still gave a response. People who held their nerve and didn’t mess around in the earlier stage really did feel more comfortable than those chasing the trade. My own handling is simple now: take a bit when I should, and keep the rest with solid protection levels.

For short-term futures, don’t treat every profitable trade as if it’s the last one. Getting from 70.08 to 78.24 already proves the rhythm was right. What matters more after that is not to hand back the initiative.
