Deep Tide TechFlow news: On July 15, according to people familiar with Apple’s operations, Apple is looking to acquire a chip company to strengthen its efforts to build server chips used to run artificial intelligence. In recent months, the iPhone maker has been in talks with bankers about a potential deal.



Insiders said it also reached out to semiconductor startups to find out whether they are interested in selling their own. Apple’s push to acquire chips comes amid performance issues with the company’s internal AI servers. (Jin Ten)
