People who can succeed in starting a business all have these 6 abilities—master them, and you’re basically unstoppable.
1. Ruthless enough with yourself—never drag things out
Those who build from nothing are pretty “cold-blooded.” They care only about results, not about favors or face. They get things done efficiently. People who are useless, and matters that cause you trouble, are never worth overthinking. Starting a business is like climbing a mountain—you must throw away the baggage. Useless connections and pointless emotional rumination—leave them all behind. Don’t take feelings too seriously; pouring your heart out may end up holding you back. Don’t trust friends too easily; when it really matters, they may坑 you. And don’t cling to useless morality—when you do business, you don’t play that game. That approach is the easiest road to collapse.
2. Bold enough—dare to take risks, dare to fight
Just this one point filters out 90% of people who want to start a business. You want to make money but you fear losses. You want to build connections, but you fear rejection. You’re afraid of wolves ahead and afraid of tigers behind—you think through a whole list of difficulties and risks first, and in the end you say it can’t be done. The ones who truly make it are the ones who charge forward when issues arise, never the ones who hide behind.
3. Execution fast enough—act as soon as you think of it
If an idea pops into your head, you immediately start doing it. Even if you fail, you’re not afraid. Many people, when they come across an opportunity, first ask their family and friends—then a bunch of objections pour cold water on it, and the whole thing is finished on the spot. No matter how big your ambition is, if you don’t take action, it’s all for nothing. Match your steps to your ambition—only by doing will you get results.
4. Willing to share the money—your pattern is “smashed together”
Put simply, it means you’re willing to give money to others. Long ago, our ancestors already said: “Wealth brings people together and wealth disperses people; when wealth disperses, people gather.” When you give enough money, even people who used to have grudges against you can work with you. When starting a business, don’t act like a miser. Your vision isn’t something you just say—it’s something you build by real money.
