According to Fars News Agency, Iran, the Tehran Province Power Distribution Company seized a total of 187 illegal cryptocurrency mining devices at two industrial sites in Khorasan and Shahriyar, involving about 561 kW of power load. Among them, in the Khorasan area, 70 mining rigs were seized based on tips provided by the Economic Security Police; in the Shahriyar area, 117 related devices were seized based on public reports. The local power department urged residents to report illegal mining sites and will offer rewards for actionable tips.
