Golden Finance News reported that on July 15, three insiders said that Deepseek’s revenue has grown significantly. The company, a leading Chinese open-source artificial intelligence firm, plans to complete its second round of financing, with a fundraising size of 50 billion yuan RMB (about $7.4 billion). It is also preparing to list in Shanghai next year.

Insiders said that the company, which was founded only three years ago, has generated revenue through an AI model cloud service API licensing business. Its annualized revenue scale in the recent period has reached between $400 million and $500 million. The post-money valuation after this round is 500 billion yuan RMB (about $74 billion), which is a sharp jump compared with the valuation of 50 billion yuan RMB at the time when the first round of financing was completed a month earlier.
