Apple Intelligence has completed cybersecurity filing with China’s Cyberspace Administration of China and will integrate large language models such as Alibaba’s Tongyi Qianwen.
Mars Finance News: According to a Reuters report, China’s Cyberspace Administration announced on Wednesday (July 15) that Apple’s on-device generative AI service “Apple Intelligence” has successfully completed registration in China and is approved for use on iPhone devices in the Chinese market. At present, the official announcement has not specified a concrete rollout date.
Sources said Apple’s AI service will integrate AI model capabilities from Baidu and Alibaba. Alibaba later confirmed in a statement that its “Tongyi Qianwen” (Qwen) large model will be integrated into the Apple Intelligence experience for users in China on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS. Apple has not responded yet.
