Liquidation isn’t because you’re unlucky—it’s because you don’t even understand what “rolling the position” really means.
The moment people hear “rolling the position,” their brains only have four words: “Once you make money, add to your position.”
Make a little profit, add a little; make more profit, add more—feeling like you’re about to take off.
Then the market turns back. Everything you made earlier gets fully given back—worse, you end up even losing your principal.
After that, they start blaming the market maker, the market, their luck.
But the real problem has always been on yourself.
Real people who know how to roll a position don’t乱拼 with their principal.
If you make money, keep running with your profits; if you’re wrong, you only lose the profit—so as long as the principal is still there, opportunities remain.
Before, I used to feel like I “got it” after two winning trades, and I kept increasing my position size. Then one big bearish candle came and wiped out my profits to zero within days.
Later, I finally understood: the most important thing about rolling the position isn’t making money quickly—it’s not dying quickly.
I have a few rules right now:
First make money, then consider adding to your position; don’t add if you haven’t broken out of your expected path.
Try not to move the principal; use profits to roll the position. If you’ve won several trades in a row, actually reduce your position size.
A lot of people lose money because after they start making money, they get arrogant—they think they’ve figured out the market and that the next trade will make even more.
Result: they get slapped back to square one in one go.
Remember this line: rolling the position isn’t to let you double in a single trade—it’s to slowly grow the money you’ve earned.
People who can stay in the market don’t rely on luck.
They rely on controlling their hands and protecting their profits.
Follow A-ge. No bragging, no empty promises—only practical experience shared to survive in the circle. If you’re still repeatedly losing and starting over, come talk to me—I’ll teach you how to make trading simple.
