According to CryptoRank data, in the first half of 2026, DeFi became the category with the most token delistings, with 207 tokens delisted. Next were GameFi (141 tokens) and Meme coins (98 tokens). CryptoRank said that token delistings are mainly concentrated in categories that had the highest number of token listings in the previous cycle, with DeFi ranking first, partly because it was also the category with the most token listings in 2025.
