This drop just now isn’t really unexpected. What’s unexpected is that many people still haven’t reacted yet—the few candles at the $BTC high level have already shown problems.

What I was watching wasn’t how much it would fall, but whether the rebound had strength. After shorting around 76861.4, the price grinded sideways for a while, which was annoying, but what I cared about most was that the overhead pressure still couldn’t be broken. The real key is right here: when it can’t be pushed up, yet volume keeps increasing and turnover continues to churn, it means the long momentum is starting to look weak—the structure has clearly changed.

Now it’s 64671.4. This short position is up +2755.59%, and the move is extending clearly. In plain terms, the rhythm has changed. What looked like rangebound trading at first turns into a stretch of acceleration. Many hesitant people wait for confirmation—and by the time that confirmation shows up, a large portion of the space has already been released.

On my side, I’ll take profit on about 80% first, and observe the remaining 20% with a protected stop level. Don’t be greedy for the last bite. If you miss it, don’t beat your chest—don’t chase on the rebound. Wait until the next time the position comes at a more comfortable level, then make a move.
