DePIN Sector Market Cap Falls 83% from Historical High, Year-to-Date Decline Reaches 23%

On July 15, data from CryptoRank revealed that the total market cap of the DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) sector has dropped from a historical high of $20.2 billion in March 2024 to the current $3.46 billion, representing a cumulative decline of approximately 83%. Additionally, since 2026, the DePIN sector has experienced a cumulative decline of about 23%, making it one of the weakest-performing narratives in the cryptocurrency market.
