$IO moved through this segment very decisively. The short position has held until now, and that counts as an explanation. There was repeated testing at the high levels earlier, but it never managed to stand firm. A lot of people are still waiting for it to push higher; what I see instead is that the capital above is starting to loosen.

IO opened the short at 0.16207. Now the price is at 0.1589, with a return of +136.15%. The key here is that the price didn’t suddenly weaken—first the takeover/absorption got worse, then the rebound failed, and only then did the downside room get opened up.

This kind of market is the ultimate test of human nature. At the start, people don’t dare to short; once it drops, they want to chase. My approach is simple: once profit is in hand, respect the result first. Take profit in an 80/20 split—lock most in first, and leave a smaller portion with a protective level to continue watching. If it can extend, you hold; if it can’t extend, you don’t stubbornly force it.

Don’t treat a single profitable trade as a reason to impulsively add to your position. If your current spot feels uncomfortable, it’s better to leave it empty and wait for the next opportunity.
