Peru didn’t make it to the World Cup, but “Haaland” is showing up in bulk in the names of newborns in Peru⚽️

Data from Peru’s national identity registration agency shows that 468 newborns have been named “Haaland,” while another 91 people have given their full name directly as “Erling Haaland,” for a total of 559.
Most of the registrations happened after the start of this World Cup, and surged again when Norway reached the quarterfinals. @Erling After scoring 7 goals in the first four matches, and accounting for two goals against Brazil in one game, even though Peruvian fans didn’t get to see their own team advance, they still prepped a Norwegian center-forward persona for the next generation.
And this isn’t the first time.
In Peru, there are already 3,402 people named “Messi,” 1,185 named “C罗,” and 1,241 named “Yamal,” while the number of people called “Neymar” is as high as 33,809.
In a Peruvian elementary school a few years from now, the teacher calls the roll “Haaland,” and a whole line of students stands up behind it.
When can the China national football team also have an idol effect🤔?
