Claude Opus5 will be released this week at the fastest pace, filling the gap left by Fable5’s exit

According to Beating monitoring, a leak account named leo claims that Anthropic is making final preparations for Claude Opus 5. The model could be released as soon as this week, but it may be delayed until next week. Its capabilities are expected to be close to Fable 5, but with lower operating costs. Anthropic has extended Fable 5’s subscription usage period to July 19, but does not currently plan to extend it again.
