The National Bureau of Statistics released that in the first half of the year, the national surveyed urban unemployment rate averaged 5.2%. In June, the national surveyed urban unemployment rate was 5%, down 0.1 percentage point from May; the market expectation was 5.1%. The surveyed unemployment rate for labor force with local household registration was 5%; for labor force with non-local household registration it was 4.9%, of which the surveyed unemployment rate for non-local rural household labor force was 4.8%. The surveyed urban unemployment rate in 31 major cities was 5%, down 0.1 percentage point from May. The average weekly working hours for employed personnel in national enterprises was 48.2 hours.
