Gold Finance reported that on July 15, the U.S. Central Command said: “At 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time on July 14, it completed yet another round of strikes against Iran, hitting dozens of military targets near the Strait of Hormuz and in Iran’s coastal areas. During this seven-hour operation, U.S. combat aircraft, drones, and naval vessels launched precision-guided weapons against Iran’s missile and drone positions, naval capabilities, and coastal defense systems, aiming to further reduce Iran’s ability to threaten merchant ships and civilian crews. This strike operation took place on the same day as the U.S. military resumed a maritime blockade of ships traveling to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas. The blockade measure took effect today at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The U.S. military remains highly vigilant and maintains strong combat readiness, prepared to carry out all actions ordered by the Commander-in-Chief of the joint forces.” (Jin Ten)
