DeepSeek TechFlow news: On July 15, citing informed sources, The Information reported that DeepSeek’s recent annualized revenue has reached $400 million to $500 million, mainly coming from enterprises and developers calling the model via APIs. The V4 API gross margin is over 50%. Although the company charges far less than OpenAI and Anthropic, it reduces the chips required to run the model by optimizing its infrastructure. DeepSeek plans to raise another 50 billion RMB, valuing the company at about 500 billion RMB (about $74 billion). Based on the annualized revenue upper limit, the valuation is about 148 times revenue. This round of financing is the same as the previously disclosed 480 billion RMB (about $71 billion), and differences in reporting reflect only slight variations in figures. DeepSeek also plans to bring in overseas investors such as those from the Middle East and allow them to invest using USD.
