Cointelegraph news: The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in multiple social media statements on the morning of the 15th local time that Iran struck U.S. military facilities in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, and other places, including the U.S. Fifth Fleet facility in Bahrain. The statements said that in a new wave of offensives, Iran struck and destroyed facilities of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, including its command-and-control center, fuel storage equipment, and munitions warehouses. The statements also said that Iran destroyed hangars storing F-15, F-16, and F-35 fighter jets at a U.S. Air Force base in Azraq, Jordan, as well as several U.S. MQ-9 drones. In the statements, the IRGC said that the U.S. military carried out night attacks on multiple locations along Iran’s southern coastal areas on the 14th, and that Iran retaliated, destroying U.S. military facilities in Kuwait, including a satellite communications center, air-defense radar systems, the “Patriot” air-defense system, a U.S. logistics support base, and the “HIMARS” rocket artillery launch platform.
