This short position is very clear-cut: $RAVE didn’t suddenly weaken—it kept offering chances repeatedly at high levels. The price moved from 0.4506 down to 0.2524; currently the short profit is +1078.06%, and the downside room has been released even more decisively than expected.

Back then, what I was watching was the pause after the spike. On the surface, it looked like there were still buyers coming in. In reality, every time it was lifted, it got pushed back down, and the active bid kept getting thinner. Many people hadn’t reacted yet, thinking it was just normal consolidation—but the key is right here: once consolidation can’t be held, it turns into an accelerated drop.

Now that the profit is in, the execution can’t be carried away by the feeling of victory. My approach is: take profit in batches with an 80/20 split first, keep the main gains, and then use the remaining position with a protective stop-follow to ensure the profits already pocketed don’t get eaten back on a rebound.

Downside profits are most afraid of chasing emotions. The smoother it goes, the steadier you need to be. If you didn’t catch it, don’t force a追. Don’t chase longs on the rebound—wait for the next opportunity, at a more comfortable level.
