I just watched a video that said a girl can’t find a job, so she wants to become a guide dog handler. She said training a qualified guide dog takes more than 1 million, and you can only use it for six or seven years, whereas if you hire someone to do a job similar to that of a guide dog, the monthly salary is only 8,000, and the person can do it for decades after all. I looked at it and instantly felt like my thinking opened up. Yes—everything a guide dog can do, people can do too, and most of what people can do, guide dogs can’t. And the cost is even lower. It really is quite good.
