This leg of the sudden sell-off is pretty interesting. On the surface it looks like a sudden dump, but in reality, it had already been buried for a long time beforehand. $FF spent a high range just moving sideways without going anywhere. The more people chased longs, the more obvious the liquidity beneath became. What I was paying attention to at the time was whether, after the sweep, it could keep being pushed lower.

Shorts were given an opportunity around 0.10466. After entering, it wasn’t a straight line—first it shook things out before driving down again, and a lot of people were already shaken out then. The key here is: a truly weak market won’t offer much of a dignified bounce. Now the price is at 0.06508, and the performance shows +1820.3%, with the move extending clearly.

The biggest taboo with trades like this is wanting to eat the whole move segment even after you’re in profit. I’ll handle it with an 80/20 approach: take the bulk first, and leave the rest for the order book. If the later rebound can’t reclaim the key level, the shorts still have momentum; if the protection level gets hit, then I’ll cut and move on—I won’t fight the market.

If you didn’t get in, don’t chase the sharp drop. Don’t buy the rebound—wait for the next cleaner breakdown/pressure position.
