The key level I was watching earlier finally gave the answer today. $LAB isn’t suddenly weak—after failing to break through repeatedly from the high end, the market has already started to change its character. A lot of people are still fantasizing that it will keep pumping; I’m instead more concerned about whether there’s fresh capital coming in to take over above.

This short position started at 4.25647. The most critical part during the process wasn’t how far it dropped, but that every time it rebounded, it was pushed back down—this shows that momentum has already switched sides. Now it’s at 0.2365; +1859.54% is already taken off the table. With the volatility room opened up, taking profit like this is far more comfortable than hard-guessing the direction.

My approach is straightforward: take some profit first, then exit in batches with an 80/20 split. The remaining small position will keep a protective level and continue to monitor how the structure extends. Don’t get carried away after getting to this point. Profit trades are most vulnerable to flipping from active to passive—especially after a sharp selloff, rebounds can appear at any time.

Don’t beat yourself up if you missed it. The market has a new rhythm every day. Don’t chase trades, and don’t chase longs or shorts—wait for the next signal at a clearer position.
