Analyst Specter monitoring indicates that Tether has frozen four TRON network wallet addresses, totaling $131 million in USDT. On-chain data shows that most of these funds were withdrawn from payment service provider DTC Pay and the cryptocurrency exchange Bitso. The report notes that these wallet addresses are linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iran’s Central Bank (Bank Markazi Jomhouri Islami Iran), both sanctioned by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
