US stocks’ three major indexes closed higher, with SanDisk and Micron up about 5%, while POET rose more than 10%.
BlockBeats message, July 15, according to Bit.com market data: U.S. stocks closed higher on Tuesday. The Dow Jones rose 0.02% preliminarily, the S&P 500 gained 0.38%, and the Nasdaq rose 0.9%. SanDisk (SNDK.O) and Micron Technology (MU.O) rose about 5%, while SK Hynix ADR (SKHY.O) surged 27.2%.
The optical communications sector closed sharply higher, with POET up more than 10% and LITE up more than 6%.
