Clashes Reported in the Strait of Hormuz

On July 15, the Iranian Mehr News Agency reported early in the morning, citing the Hormozgan provincial government, that clashes occurred in the Strait of Hormuz, with explosions heard in coastal counties of the province, as well as in Bandar Abbas and nearby islands in the Persian Gulf. Additionally, earlier reports from the Mehr News Agency indicated that multiple explosions were heard in Sirik County of Hormozgan Province, which may be related to the clashes in the nearby waters. Sirik is located at the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz. (Xinhua News Agency)
