An official from the US Department of Commerce: Chip and AI regulatory measures are set to be rolled out soon

Golden Finance reported that on July 15, Jeffrey Kessler, an official at the U.S. Department of Commerce responsible for export controls, said at a hearing on Tuesday that chip and AI regulatory measures are about to be introduced. Kessler noted that the Trump administration does not plan to replace the AI chip export restriction rules established by the Biden administration.
