On July 14, US President Trump posted on social media saying: “The Strait of Hormuz is open to all ships, except Iran, because their lying leaders are leading them down the path to complete destruction. I have decided to replace the 20% transit fee that the US would charge with the trade and investment agreements between the Gulf states and the United States.”
