In the World Cup semi-final, Spain defeated France 2:0, a side that had reached the final in both of the previous two editions, and advanced to the final first.

After the European Championship two years ago and the UEFA Nations League last year, “La Furia Roja” Spain—also known as the “Bull Army”—continued its dominance by beating “Les Bleus” France for the third consecutive year in the semi-finals of an international tournament.

Spain created a penalty opportunity in the first half, and Oyarzabal took charge to score, putting them 1-0 up at 22 minutes. After the teams switched sides, Spain extended its lead to 2:0 at 58 minutes with a goal from Borja Puiu, and the score remained unchanged until the final whistle.

Spain reached the World Cup final again for the first time in 16 years. Their previous final appearance was in 2010, when they defeated the Netherlands to win the trophy. Spain’s final opponent will be the winner of the match between England and Argentina.

The World Cup final will be held at 3:00 a.m. next Monday (the 20th) Hong Kong time.
