Mars Finance news: ENS DAO has submitted a proposal to establish a new Security Council based on the EP 6.50 election results. The term will be two years, ending on July 16, 2028. According to the proposal description, the new Security Council will inherit existing responsibilities and continue to handle the cancellation of malicious proposals in ENS DAO, without having the authority to submit, modify, or proactively push governance proposals. The proposal will be implemented by configuring the appropriate permissions through the DAO’s TimelockController. The proposal also shows that after the two-year term expires, if the DAO does not approve a new proposal to extend, any address can call the relevant functions to revoke its permissions to cancel proposals.
