Xiaomi discloses new progress on robot factory entry: in some scenarios, a 98% success rate is nearing that of humans

Mars Finance News: On July 14, Xiaomi disclosed the latest progress of its humanoid robots in an automotive factory. After 4 months of iteration, Xiaomi’s dual-sided operation success rate at its self-tapping nut loading station increased from 90.2% to 98%, only 1 percentage point away from the human operation qualification rate. Meanwhile, the team also launched two additional tasks—dashboard side cover plate sorting and material box folding and recycling—and the success rates for both have already reached 90%. Among them, the dashboard side cover plate sorting station scene shown by Xiaomi is the first time an automotive factory has achieved long-duration continuous operation of flexible workpieces.
