After a continuous decline, BTC dipped to the 61806 low point in the early session, then gradually consolidated and repaired from the lower levels. In the evening, the release of the US CPI data sent a bullish signal; concentrated long capital surged, and the price shot straight up to around 64162. ETH moved in sync as well. After a pullback to the 1748 low in the early hours, it started a slow bullish upswing for the day. Riding on BTC’s rally, it not only fully reclaimed the prior day’s losses, but also strongly broke through the near-term resistance level, with the highest wick reaching 1882.

On the daily timeframe, an alternating yin-yang pattern is forming. Supported by macro positive news, a single long bullish candle was produced, but on shorter cycles, there is intense back-and-forth around the moving average mid-band. The daily mid-band is the key watershed between bulls and bears at this stage: if it breaks down effectively, the bearish move will accelerate further; if price holds above it as support, the rebound trend can continue. On the 4-hour timeframe, it closed with an ultra-long lower shadow bullish candle; however, news-driven rallies typically have a “quick in, quick out” characteristic, so a surge followed by a pullback is the most likely path. Overall, after short-term bullish sentiment has been exhausted, the market may turn lower and retest beneath to probe the strength of support.

61806 picked up that low point pretty solidly, but the news-driven pump was definitely hollow.

The short position with 65,300 contracts has been placed; we’re waiting for a spike up followed by a pullback.

CPI is all good news and there’s nothing left—so it’s a negative. Same old playbook.

That four-hour candle with a long lower wick looks intimidating, but chasing longs can easily get you liquidated.
