Jordan says it intercepted and shot down four missiles entering its airspace from Iran

The Jordan Armed Forces General Command said on the 13th local time that on the same day in the early morning, Jordan’s air defense system successfully intercepted and shot down four missiles entering Jordan’s airspace from the direction of Iran. Jordan said the interception operation was completed efficiently and was a combat measure taken by the Jordan Armed Forces to safeguard national sovereignty, ensure national security, and protect the safety of citizens’ lives. The incident caused no casualties or property damage. Jordan said that the Jordanian Royal Engineers Corps, in accordance with relevant technical and safety procedures, had disposed of the missile wreckage and fragments scattered at multiple locations and taken necessary measures to ensure the safety of the scene and protect the public and their property.
