Many people buy funds and get stuck in a loop of “making money, then losing it all back” on $ETH . In fact, if you master two core actions, you can hold onto your gains steadily: when you’re in profit, take profits promptly; when you’re in loss, hold patiently. Do this as written, and it’s unlikely you’ll lose. $EVAA
1 Take-profit: sell when you’ve made money—don’t get greedy
After buying a fund, watch the profit ratio of each one. Sell according to the rules, and the money you’ve earned can’t run away:
Cumulative profit 10%: sell 1/4, take $BTC some of the gains off the table first, and let the rest keep growing;
Cumulative profit 20%: sell 1/3, take some more gains off the table, and keep more money in hand;
Cumulative profit 30%: sell 1/2, lock in a large portion of the gains, and reduce the risk of later volatility;
Cumulative profit 40% or above: sell everything—be quick to take the win, and don’t wait for a reversal that turns profits back into losses.
Core logic: a little profit is still profit. Grip the gains you’ve already got tighter than “waiting to make even more.” It’s far more reliable. #PreIPOs第二期OpenAI认购
2 Loss: don’t easily bail out
Cutting losses, the more it drops the more opportunities you miss
If a fund drops, don’t panic—especially don’t “cut losses” (sell at a low price). Once you cut, it becomes a real loss. Just do the following:
When it drops sharply: boldly add more to lower your average cost, so you can break even faster when there’s a rebound later;
When it drops slightly: either wait first until the drawdown widens (for example, after it falls 5% or more) before adding, or add less in batches—no need to act in a hurry;
Key mindset: as long as you don’t sell, the loss is only an unrealized “paper loss,” not real money lost. Even if you’re temporarily stuck underwater, when the market recovers, you can most likely get back to breakeven. After you break even, sell again using the take-profit rules above.
Key reminder: don’t chase after pumps blindly
This is the core to avoid getting trapped!
If you see a fund surge like crazy and you buy just to follow the crowd, you’re likely buying near the top—then it drops as soon as you buy.
Try to enter when the fund pulls back and valuations are reasonable, so you can be more stable.
As long as you hold funds that are currently profitable, sell strictly using the “tiered take-profit” method—those gains are real, not just theoretical. For funds in loss, hold patiently, add on dips when appropriate, and wait until you break even before taking profits. When you do both, the money you make is taken off the table, and the money you lost can return to breakeven—so you naturally won’t lose.
