Wu Says learned that the Bitcoin mining firm and data center developer CleanSpark has announced that it has signed a 20-year data center infrastructure lease with an unnamed high-investment-grade global technology company. The lease covers 175 MW of critical IT load for the Sandersville campus in Georgia and is expected to begin deliveries starting in Q4 2027. The initial lease term is expected to generate contract revenue of approximately $6.6 billion, and if both 5-year renewal options are fully exercised, the contract value could be as high as approximately $11.6 billion. In addition, the customer also received an exclusive letter of intent agreement for CleanSpark’s investment portfolio of planned power capacity in Texas of up to 885 MW.
