Oh wow, LV directly sued the National Intellectual Property Administration 😂
If there’s a tiger in the mountains, lean toward the tiger mountain?
According to an announcement from the Beijing IP Court, at 9:30 a.m. on July 16, the court will hold a hearing in the trademark administrative dispute case in which Louis Vuitton sues the CNIPA; case number is (2026) Jing 73 Xing Chu 4727.
A person named Huang Minyao is also listed as a third party and has been pulled into the courtroom.
At present, the court’s announcement has not yet disclosed the trademark images in dispute or the specific administrative dispute claims.
Not long ago, it was all the rage after LV sued for infringement of the “Molly Milk White” trademark—then, turning around, LV went head-to-head with regulators at the very source of administrative validity confirmation.
Can they win?
