When it looks weak, chasing a short is often the easiest way to get slapped back; but if nobody keeps picking up in the high zone, then it’s different. In this round, my main focus on $ACT is whether the rebound has staying power.

Back then, the short position was opened around 0.01151. The market had been grinding in a really annoying way—fall a bit, bounce a bit, bounce a bit, then get pushed back. Later, when the price moved to 0.00857 and the return hit +626.36%, that’s when it proved the waiting wasn’t in vain.

I’m not really the type to make this kind of trade sound overly miraculous—actually, I also hesitated during the process. Especially when, in the middle of a downswing, a sudden counter-rally candle appears; many people’s first reaction is to run, afraid that the profit they’re about to lock in will vanish.

So now I care more about trade pacing. Take what you can take first, and let the rest play out with the market. Don’t assume you’ve figured everything out just because one trade made money.
