Weekend Cooling-Off Period: How important is it to force yourself to rest for 24 hours after consecutive losses?

🛌 In the weekend derivatives market, liquidity is thin, and price can easily spike up and down. If you’ve already lost this week, shut down the app immediately—by force.
Why take a break?
1. Reset dopamine: Let your brain recover calm from high-frequency stimulation.
2. Break loss inertia: Carry the emotions of losing into the weekend, and when Monday’s market opens you’ll definitely want to “revenge trade.”
3. Return to life: Trading is only part of life—don’t let it consume you.
What can you do on the weekend?
Go exercise, go watch a movie, go spend time with your family. Just don’t look at the candlestick chart.
💡 Today’s golden quote: Rest is also part of trading. If you can’t rest, you won’t make money.$BTC $ETH

The dopamine reset point is too real—after continuously watching the market, people become numb; they lose their sense of risk.

Rest is also part of trading—this sentence should be engraved in every contract trader’s mind, but unfortunately most people only understand FOMO and don’t understand STOP.

Last week I didn’t listen to good advice. I stubbornly held on through the weekend and kept the orders/positions running hard. Right at the Monday open, I got liquidated straight away. Now I’ve even thrown my phone into a drawer.

Well said, but how many people can truly do that? For me, it’s always the same—I keep telling myself, “just one more look,” and then it’s already daylight.
