It is claimed that Hui Bingyuan, the former head of Beating and Alibaba’s Qwen Code project, has joined a large domestic internet company and serves as the head of AI programming algorithms, confirmed by multiple sources. He left Alibaba in January 2026. Although previous reports indicated he joined Meta, the new company has not yet disclosed this, and its official profile currently has not updated his employer information.
