Odaily Planet Daily reports that the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association stated on July 10 that it has submitted a letter to the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking in support of the CLARITY Act, while also calling for modifications to the provisions to strengthen DeFi accountability and preserve investigators’ existing powers. The bill had previously been supported by the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, marking its second public endorsement by a major U.S. law enforcement organization.
