On July 14, Wang Jun, Deputy Director-General of the General Administration of Customs, said at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that, to date, China’s exports have been growing for 11 consecutive quarters. The fundamental reason for export growth is China’s manufacturing achieving precise alignment with global demand. UN reports show that since the beginning of this year, growth in global goods trade has mainly been concentrated in AI-related fields. Wang Jun said that demand for global data centers for computing power and end-user devices has continued to expand, boosting the export of China’s related products. In the first half of the year, exports of products such as electronic components and computer parts all grew by double digits, and in total they drove export growth by 6.9 percentage points.
