I stare at my phone screen, my fingers feeling stiff every time I scroll through news about a war that never seems to end. Each headline feels heavier—not only the death toll numbers, but the stories behind them. Homes destroyed, families separated, and children who should be playing, instead learning how to survive amid the sound of explosions.

From my point of view, war is not just conflict between countries or a struggle for power. It’s about people losing everything in an instant. Sometimes I wonder, what does it feel like to live there? Waking up in the morning without certainty whether that day will be the last.
I realize that here, I can still complain about small things—hot weather, a slow internet connection, or boring routines. But elsewhere, people can only hope to see the sunrise again without fear.
Those stories make me feel small, but they also open my eyes. This world is not balanced, and peace is something we often take for granted. From this small screen, I learn that empathy is the simplest thing I can still offer—even if only through prayers and the awareness that out there, lives are fighting much harder than mine.
