With $ESPORTS taking this kick, the profit on short positions starts to release immediately. There are quite a few people who were looking long before, but the chart has always given me a feeling: someone is holding pressure overhead, preventing the price from moving through easily.

What really caught my attention is ESPORTS repeatedly testing around 0.04289. Every time the price spikes up, it lacks follow-through; instead, key levels are slowly being broken through. This level is critical. On the surface it looks like a range-bound market, but in reality the bulls’ momentum is weakening. Once it breaks down and confirmation comes, shorts won’t be guessing direction anymore—they’ll be trading to the rhythm.

Now the current price is 0.01389. The unrealized P/L shows +1330.86%, and the room for the move has been released very smoothly. My handling won’t be too aggressive: I’ll take profit in 80% in batches, keep 80% for the inertia-driven dip, and let the protection level follow lower. The most important thing for winning trades is not to turn from proactive into passive.

This kind of market action is the easiest to make people regret—when it’s going up you don’t dare to short, and when it drops you want to chase. If you miss it, you miss it. Don’t enter impulsively with low-price emotions—wait for the next rebound to find a more comfortable position.
