The biggest mistake I used to make when shorting was that I’d get scared and start worrying about giving back profits as soon as I made a little—then I’d often pull out right in front, only for the market to actually dump lower right after.

This time, $RAVE is like a reminder that my old habits can’t keep riding with me.

At the time I opened the position, the entry price was around 0.3832. The current price is already 0.2438, showing a +890.77% move. Honestly, those rebound candles in the middle looked pretty terrifying—especially like they were about to flush out all the short positions. I even felt my hand itching.

But this time, I didn’t rush to chase the order book and keep changing things around. I only focused on one point: whether that key level at the high had been reclaimed. As long as it hadn’t, I wouldn’t scare myself.

Now that the profits have actually materialized, I need to be even more clear-headed. Protect the level where protection is needed—don’t, in the end, try to get one more bite out of greed and end up throwing off the momentum you already locked in.
