A solo miner using a Bitaxe device mined block #957,382 on the Bitcoin network via the Public Pool service. The reward was 3.1382 BTC (~$200,000).


The user's hardware operated for approximately eight hours with an average hashrate of less than 1 TH/s. With this power, the chance of finding a block is approximately once every 18,000 years. This is the second known instance of a single Bitaxe device finding a solo block.
