The three major U.S. stock indexes all closed lower

Golden Finance reported that on July 14, the three major U.S. stock indexes all closed lower. The Dow fell 0.26%, the Nasdaq fell 1.55%, and the S&P 500 Index fell 0.79%. Most large technology stocks declined, with the storage and semiconductor sectors leading the declines. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell 4.78%; SanDisk fell by more than 12%; SK Hynix fell by more than 9%; Micron Technology, AMD, Western Digital, and SPaceX fell by more than 4%; ASML fell by nearly 4%; Nvidia and Broadcom fell by more than 3%; Meta and Google fell by more than 1%; and Microsoft rose by more than 1%.
