That sell-off just now was crucial. A lot of people thought it was only a wash, but $TRB directly broke through the high-position longs.

I entered this short at 16.26, and the current price is already at 15.09. My current return is +510.56%. The real turning point wasn’t at the moment of the drop—it was before that, when it failed to hold after being pushed up. It swept the highs, and once people who chased in started panicking, the chart immediately flipped and pressured downward.

Put simply, the rhythm changed. Most people are still watching for a breakout—I’m watching how fast it falls back after the breakout fails. The faster the pullback, the looser the supply of chips overhead. Once a key level is lost, volatility space opens up, and shorts get conditions to take profit.

Now that the profit is already out, if you’re in a heavy position, don’t stubbornly hold on until the last breath. Handling it in an 80/20 staged way is a bit steadier. For the remaining position, keep a protective level and see whether it can continue extending downward.

If you didn’t get in, don’t rush to add—especially don’t chase the fake moves inside unit volatility. Wait for the next time at a more comfortable level.
