This short order finally paid off. The move where $INJ was pushed down from the high was very decisive—clean read on the chart.

I entered this short at 5.542; the current price is 4.685. My return rate is +748.17%. What really caught my attention was that earlier spike looked strong, but the volume couldn’t keep up. The price kept grinding near the top, which suggested the people chasing longs were starting to get trapped.

At the time, many were still waiting for it to keep pumping higher. I felt something was off here instead—the structure had clearly changed. After opening the short, the first target was to see whether the support below would get broken. Once it broke, it started accelerating—very obvious how much room the move released.

If you’re holding a position, it’s more comfortable to manage it with an 80/20 phased approach: take profit on part first, then keep the rest with a proper protection level and look for further extension. Once the profit is there, don’t get carried away—making money on shorts comes from timing, not from forcing it with emotion.

If you didn’t get in, don’t rush. Don’t chase orders—don’t chase longs or shorts. Wait for the next more comfortable level to move.
