CoinCircle Network news: Meta Platforms announced that it will add $40 billion in investment to its large data center campus in the U.S. state of Louisiana, and the project is expected to have a total investment of more than $250 billion. The project will be expanded to at least 5 gigawatts (GW) of computing capacity, with total investment reaching $50 billion. Previously, Meta had announced that it would invest $10 billion to build this data center and the surrounding communities. In May this year, reports said that Meta plans to put another $200 billion into this project, mainly to purchase high-cost computing chips. To date, Meta has not disclosed any specific spending on the project other than the $50 billion.
