Nscale’s planned £2B Essex AI data center has reportedly been hit by UK grid delays, per The Telegraph. The Nvidia-backed company was told power will not be available in time for its planned 2027 opening, despite a 90MW supply being in the pipeline. Nscale is now exploring alternative power sources and is reportedly in talks with Bloom Energy $BE, which makes gas fuel cells for on-site electricity generation. Microsoft is the anchor tenant for the site. h/t to @markflowchatter
