Bloomberg reports that Intel is investing €5 billion (about $5.7 billion) to expand its manufacturing plant in Leixlip, Dublin, as part of its efforts to regain leadership in AI chip manufacturing. The expansion will increase production capacity for data center processors, including its flagship Xeon server chips, and will support R&D activities at the site.
